Our Capacity Building Development Officer, Katherine, successfully gathered expressions of interest from a variety of female-led VCSE organisations to take part in our International Women’s Day event on 8th March 2025. Organisations like Women of Worth, Empathy Holistic Buddies CIC, Foundations of Wellness CIC, and many more joined in to showcase their work.
Held at The Met, the event attracted local visitors and featured a vibrant marketplace offering networking opportunities. Stallholders highlighted the incredible talents of local women, with a range of small businesses, artists, charities, and even a local author. In the afternoon, therapists from Happy Me Community CIC provided free holistic therapies including reiki, massage, and ear candling.
Through our partnership with The Met, we supported grassroots and new CICs, helping them connect with a wider audience, raise awareness of their work, and attract new clients. It was a fantastic day of empowerment, networking, and community spirit!
