Bury VCFA works to support and develop the voice of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations (VCSEs) in Bury. We do this by facilitating thematic forums, which bring together voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises across the borough of Bury to encourage collaboration and influence strategic priorities in the following thematic areas.

Bury VCSE Leadership Group
Bury VCSE Leadership Group brings together leaders of VCSE organisations working across the borough of Bury.
Objectives of the Leadership Group are
- To provide opportunities for collaboration, information sharing and good practice
- To receive feedback from strategic partnership such as Team Bury and GM Leadership Group
- To provide representation on local strategic partnerships within the borough of Bury
Children & Young People’s Forum
The Children, Young People Forum brings together Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations working with children, young people across the borough of Bury, with an aim to improve their lives. The forum provides broad-ranging representation of the interests and views of VCSE organisations working with children, young people across the borough representing the forum on Bury Children and Young People’s Partnerships.
Bury Faith Forum
Bury Faith Forum is the thematic group for the interfaith work supporting dialogue between Christian, Jewish and Islamic organisations along with Hindu, Sikh and other faith based groups
Bury LGBTQI+ Forum
The LGBTQI Forum aims to bring together members of the local community with local organisations to increase the awareness and understanding of LGBTQI issues and improve the quality of life for LGBTQ! residents.The Forum also runs a LGBTQI drop in and a lesbian/bisexual women’s group and organises specific events such as for World Aids Day, LGBT History month and Black History month .
