The Achieve Bury Recovery Fund is now open for applications.
From 6 August 2024, community groups and projects that support recovery from addiction can apply for grants of up to £6,000 from the Achieve Bury Recovery Fund. (Full guidance notes available)
The proposed project should address at least one of the three objectives of the Fund:
- To develop community support around people’s recovery from addiction, and those affected by somebody else’s addiction (family and carers)
- To promote mental wellbeing in recovery from addiction, or supporting recovery from addiction
- Supports the development of new ‘recovery from addiction’ initiatives not already available in Bury.
Feedback received through ‘Bury Recovery Forum’ events and other service user/recovery community feedback has informed the additional objectives set below.
To deliver one or more of the following to service users and the recovery community in Bury:
- Project that teaches practical skills/activities that result in qualifications
- Project that includes visible recovery for a diverse range of individuals/communities
- Project that delivers ‘Dry Nights’ / Substance-Free fun activities
