VCFSE Rep Opportunity: GM Make Smoking History Alliance

Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW) are currently commencing a Rep Appointment Process for the GM Make Smoking History (MSH) Alliance

Introduction – Greater Manchester has been leading the way nationally in the development of a city-region approach to reducing smoking prevalence. Our unprecedented and evidence-based Making-Smoking History Strategy has been delivered since 2017 through a partnership of city-region, local authority borough and community-based programmes.

Purpose – The purpose of the Greater Manchester (GM) Making Smoking History Alliance is to support the comprehensive programme of work across GM to achieve the ambition of making Greater Manchester Smoke Free by 2030. The Alliance will oversee, lead and drive the core 7- components of the GM Making Smoking History Framework (GMPOWER).

How to apply – If you or someone within your network is interested in joining the GM Make Smoking History (MSH) Alliance, please complete the Expression of Interest and monitoring form below and return by 5pm on Tuesday 19th November 2024 to Kassie Banks via email at Kassandra.banks@vsnw.org.uk

Please note – The appointed VCFSE Representative will also be invited to join the GM VCFSE Population Health Working Group to ensure that work is linked up.
