Trustee Training Modules
This course is free to access.
ICAEW’s online training modules provide an overview of charity trustees’ legal and financial responsibilities and their strategic and operational considerations.
The training was created with experts from the charity sector, including the Charity Commission for England and Wales, NCVO, the Cranfield Trust, the Centre for Charity Effectiveness (Bayes Business School) and the Honorary Treasurers Forum and charity specialist Sally Knight.
National Lottery Community Fund – Grants for volunteer projects
The National Lottery Community Fund offers several grant programmes. For volunteer-related projects, consider:
- National Lottery Awards for All (£300 – £20,000) – Ideal for small projects, including volunteer training and engagement.
- Reaching Communities (£20,001+) – For larger projects that involve volunteers supporting communities.
- Partnerships Fund (£20,001+) – Supports projects that involve multiple organisations working together, including volunteer-led initiatives.
