LETS Live Well & Make Whitefield Green!
Grants of up to £2,500 for Bury VCSE groups to help create better lives for Whitefield residents through greener spaces.
This fund is only open to organisations that are:
- Constituted as a voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE)
- Based in Bury OR have a strong track record of delivery in Bury
- In possession of an organisational Bank Account with two signatories who are not related to each other OR have a supporting organisation that can provide a holding account
- Fully up to date with grant reporting to Bury VCFA
- Are able to submit a fully completed application by the 8th of April
- Projects must be based in or delivered for the benefit of Whitefield neighbourhood
Closing Date for Applications:
The fund will close to applications on the 8th of April 2026.
Meet the Funder Session: Wednesday 18th March 2026, 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Online
We are running a Meet the Funder support session for Voluntary, Community and Faith based organisations in Whitefield to find out more about how to apply to the LETS Make Whitefield Green grant. Archie Donnelly, Grants Officer will be running the session. The session covers:
- An in depth look at guidance around the LETS Make Whitefield Green
- Hints & Tips on filling in the application
- What supporting Documents are needed
- What support is available from Bury VCFA
- By the end of the session you will have a greater understanding of the LETS Make Whitefield Green grant

LETS Get Bury Moving Coach/Officials Education Bursaries
Bursaries of up to £100 for Bury VCSE groups to help develop a stronger community sport and physical activity workforce.
This fund is only open to organisations that are:
- Constituted as a voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisation
- Based in Bury OR have a strong track record of delivery in Bury
- With an organisational Bank Account with 2 signatories who are not related to each other OR have a supporting organisation that can provide a holding account
- Supporting physical activity for children, young people and families
- Fully up to date with grant reporting to Bury VCFA
Application Deadlines:

Importantly for this programme applicants must be members of Bury VCFA
- Membership of Bury VCFA is free, whether you are a small community group or a large charity – all VCSE not-for-private-profit organisations are welcome.
- Membership means that in addition to eligibility for this grant you can also keep informed of developments in the VCSE sector locally, vote in our Annual General Meeting (AGM), promote your organisation through our website, access and get support from our voluntary bank and network with other VCSE organisations in Bury.
