Live Well Navigator - Whitefield (2 x Part Time Roles)

The Ark in Whitefield is Bury’s first Live Well Centre, supporting the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Live Well initiative. It’s a welcoming, community-focused space that connects local people with support, activities and opportunities.
As a Live Well Navigator, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for visitors. You’ll offer a warm welcome, help people identify what matters to them, and connect them with local services and activities. You’ll also play a practical role in keeping the centre running smoothly, supporting volunteers and day‑to‑day activity in a busy community hub.

Business Support Officer

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. The successful candidate will be a confident administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
You will be someone who:
- Has strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Communicates professionally and confidently by phone and email
- Can manage records accurately using digital systems (e.g. CRM/databases)
- Works well independently and collaboratively, supporting meetings and colleagues
- Handles confidential information appropriately and is flexible across a range of admin tasks

This role sits within our Capacity Building Team; the team that drives Bury VCFA’s mission to strengthen and champion the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. Together, we help local groups grow in confidence and
capability, build their long-term sustainability, and ultimately create a thriving VCSE landscape that improves people's lives across Bury.
