Public sector partners and VCSE colleagues are working to get further local support for those affected by the recent tragic attacks. We will update this webpage as additional information becomes available.

Mental health support for members of the public

Mental health support for staff, volunteers and faith leaders

Support is available through the GM Resilience Hub for health, social care, and council staff involved in the response, as well as for faith leaders, including those from the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. The GM Resilience Hub helpline: 0800 953 0285 is available 24/7

Community Engagement

There have been several enquiries about the plans for community engagement, including meetings and drop-ins. This is a priority, but we remain respectful and mindful that many people remain observant of the High Holy Days for another week. We are working closely with Manchester City Council, Salford Council, and other partners as Team Bury to ensure we do that in the right way after 16 October. The intention is to be responsive to what is wanted and needed – don’t hesitate to get in touch if you wish to help in establishing what takes place so that what we do is the most helpful it can be. You can email prestwichcommunityhub@bury.gov.uk or call 0161 253 5000.
